    Gerard Ilaria, LCSW-R, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Social Work from Columbia University. He has dedicated his career to the provision of mental health and health care to stigmatized and underserved populations, first in HIV/AIDS, then with combat veterans and most recently with the LGBTQ+ community. He is an EMDR-certified trauma therapist and currently serves as the Clinical Director of the Center for Trauma and Addiction at Weill Cornell Medicine.
